Next, we proceed to the main panel, which we kept on the questions itself, which means it should have been on the main board. Statistics should have been glued to it. Initially, I planned that I would simply put the holders/stands on the lower board and thus be able to wind statistics from threads on it. But since the round board did not look very beautiful and completely boring, I had to think about what to do next.
This is how my idea looked later. Make 2 different boards and divide them into 2 parts so that you can look at the questions from one board (white) and wind the threads (statistics) on another board (black). As you can see, it also looked pretty bad. Then I tried to reproduce my idea in a 3D effect and see how I could improve it.
Then I got the idea to connect 2 boards so that it would be possible to see the first layer looking through the second layer. It might be more interesting, but much more difficult to do. After all, what techniques and materials should I use to achieve such an effect?
Then I remembered about the workshop that I had attended literally 2 weeks before. It was an interesting idea to invent a transparent second layer with clippings to see all the questions that were invented by me specifically for this project. The idea was to ask the right questions. Basically, when you ask people directly, “What do you think about a lie?” - of course, everyone will answer with a lie. No one dares to say that in some moments a lie even saves.
Thus, thinking about the design, the next day I went to the FabU cafe and worked with them on my idea.
Since Laser cutting is something new to me, I had to redesign the idea a bit because my wishes were impossible for Laser Cut Machine.
After 3 hours of discussion and painful design changes, we came up with a single idea. So we settled on this design, which was made in a few days.
