An early survey I did, gave me new inspiration for the project. Compare lies to spiderwebs? I have not heard anything more ingenious!

It was the survey that motivated me to continue the project with even greater enthusiasm.

I asked 10 people - my friends and colleagues at work about what do they associate lie with, what they feel when they think about it. The first respondent was my friend, who at that second answered that she had been thinking about it for a long time and long ago determined for herself that for her a lie is like a spider's web, entangled in which you cannot get out.

Further, after interviewing colleagues and a couple of friends, I heard such options as a snake, dirt, which cannot be gotten rid of, and a rat. As a result, 6/10 people still preferred the web. This struck me very much, because not every day you meet people who think in this way.

I started to explore the way how I could show the web visually on the project. Of course, it was decided to use the cobweb and capture it on the project as the main idea. To show how deeply people can go into the web with lies, the idea came up to divide the answers according to criteria from 1-5. It’s easier to see how people’s answers are clearly visible on the web. After all, the main victim of a spider always moves a lot. The more it moves, the more it rolls down to the middle of the web, from where it is absolutely impossible to get out.

Moving in this direction, I asked my friend to answer a couple of questions to roughly imagine how it will look on the installation. It didn't look so bad at the end of the interview. I decided to keep improving this draft to make it perfect.
