Typo : Installation

Let's start with the fact that first of all I worked on the font for a very long time. That is, it turned out that picking up your letter form is not so easy. As described in another post, it took me a lot of time. Because I created the font from parts of the mosque that I saw in Masjid Jamkek.

After creating my font, I decided to make the main words "Inner Peace". Since this is a mosque and religion - first of all it is the inner world. The way you feel and what you feel. What do you feel being in a mosque and do you think that this is yours? Personally, since I am Muslim, when I am at the mosque I calm down. I stop thinking about problems and just focus on myself. I feel this inner peace. It was the first sketch and design for the installation. Since I wanted to make it in 2 layers. That is, to impose this carved inscription on the first layer is very difficult. Calculate where and how to be the moon, what patterns are best to use and in what style to draw it all.

After that, I began to do the main drawing and work, that is, how it will actually look like :

After that, I switched to Denmark background. For it was a mystery that you can insert, what patterns, whether there should be some hidden meaning. But it's very good that I collected my thoughts and completed my story book on Happy End.

In conclusion, I want to present my completed work. It turned out not quite what I wanted. Because it was not good to fix the cardboard between them. But it still looks like the idea that I originally intended. The cut out letters are very clearly visible and Muslim patterns and ornaments penetrate through them. Also the advice from Ms Sue-Jane helped, I added sparkles, so it looks very mystical.
