THE STORY ABOUT A CAT

In the previous post I described my experience in creating a Story book. And it was the first draft. Since that time I have visited ms Sue-Jane's many times, and I understood a lot of things that I missed in the first draft.

Starting from the cover of my comic book. I missed many moments that were worth considering. Suppose I originally made a cover with the inscription "Masjid Jamek", but for some reason didn't think at all about the fact that this story about a cat didn't at all refer to the Masjid Jamek mosque. This is more about Islam. And it's good that Ms Sue-Jane reminded me of that. Because due to fatigue in the last weeks, I started to forget a lot =) Therefore, after the comment, I redid the cover leaving only the icon with the cat. And in fact, it looks so much better.

Also, the picture with the mosque was originally at my end of the comic, in order to show where the actions took place. But again, on the advice of the lecturer, I rearranged it on the first slide.

So, the action takes place in the mosque. It's a night. The pictures depicted the Prophet Muhammad and his cat Muezza. The Koran says that the Prophet Muhammad cannot be portrayed anywhere, because he did not even have a shadow. So I only drew his silhouette and even from the rear view.

While they were sleeping, a serpent crawled over to them.

The snake began to crawl into the sleeve of the prophet and at that moment, fortunately, the cat woke up, which later killed the snake. People said that after this incident, the prophet began to carry his cat up his sleeve so that in case of something to protect himself.

Since then, a cat in Islam is considered a very pure and noble animal. In the past, before making an ablution, people would give a cat that water to drink water from there. There is such a fact that if a cat drinks this water and it remains, then this water is considered sacred. Also in the mosques are very loyal to the cats and even from the territory of the mosque do not drive. So I noticed it in the Masjid Jamek mosque. Like, even behind the fence of a mosque, people go out and feed cats

Many of my friends who saw my story book did not understand what this watch is for. But honestly, I tried to show how time goes by. That is, if you notice the arrows move there, that is, there are many of them, and time passes

Here it was shown how through time the Prophet and the cat sleep again, but this time the cat fell asleep on the cloth of the Prophet. Soon the Prophet woke up and noticed where the cat was sleeping. Of course, after all that was, his attitude towards cats, in particular, this relates to his cat, has changed. Therefore, in order not to wake her up - he simply cut off the fabric from his clothes. Since then, every time she fell asleep on his clothes, he just cut off a piece.

So this is a story about how a cat became almost a sacred animal in Islam.

This is how I decided to bind the Story Book. It is simple, but still look good. I believe that the simpler the work, the easier it is to perceive. All the same, minimalism will never die. Also, as you can see, my Story Book must be read from right to left. Since the mosque is primarily a Muslim religion, and the Koran is written in Arabic - from right to left
