Translating a Subject Matter into a Letterform

In the last lesson, we invented Letterform from which a little later we sculpted the construction and plasticine. Very interesting workshop because earlier I had no experience with clay :)

With our homework, we had to decorate a photo with an illustration using Photoshop CC. One year ago when I went to Graphic Design courses, we studied Photoshop and Corel Draw. But over time, having no practice, I forgot everything a bit. And fortunately, Ms Sue Jane made a video for us about how to use Photoshop specifically for painting photos.

As a result, after watching the video, I remembered a lot and followed the steps that were indicated in the video. In the end, I slowly began to get used to and memorize steps. My final work looked like this:

Most of all I like the imitation of the rope I was trying to create. Of course, not as perfect as I expected, but this is just the beginning. It will be better next !
