Different techniques and styles of drawing. About the lesson 17.04.

Today, as usual, there was a very informative and interesting lesson. We learnt many different types of drawing techniques, different drawing styles. For this lesson we needed vegetables / fruits as a nature, paints, markers, pencils. In general, everything that we could use for drawing. We were given 5-15 minutes for each technique, so we didn’t have much time to think and reflect on how to draw and what to draw. That's why I finished my sketches after the lesson.

The first drawing was strict: the classic form of the fruit. Usually on such a drawing I need more time to feel the forms. But here, we are taught to draw every sketch in an instant, very quickly, pick up everything in a jiffy. I think it is good for our future. Because we should be able to draw fast.

The second one : the task was to draw the same fruit from different dots. I thought that it will be difficult, because I have not painted in such styles before. But surprisingly that wasn't so bad, I think :)

The following next several drawing styles were rather unusual and I tried to make them as good as possible. Of course, we understand that this is all we are taught so that we can use these techniques in our future work. But to improve these techniques, we should practice more. For instance, I really liked the technique where we painted our fruits with different shapes. Very interesting sketches turn out. Or a single line drawing technique.

So what do I want to say? It's great that we get this experience, as well as a chance to show our abilities and ideas.
