Deconstructionism is an approach to architecture and other branches of design that originates in the philosophical principles of the philosopher Jacques Derrida. It made possible to read freely, create a different interpretation, go beyond the usual framework. Over time, a clear framework of constructivism began to emerge in the creative environment of architects and designers, a protest. This is how the antipode of rigor was born - deconstructionism, a challenge to the old foundations and all the laws of design.
The example of fashion design, a principle was used by such designers as Kei Kawakubo and Ann Demeulemeester.
The essence of deconstructionism is to take a recognizable thing, divide/cut it into parts, discard unnecessary and boring details, and creatively mix the rest.
Deconstructionism in the interior is a kind of negation of all norms and rules. Style breaks traditions and creates new forms, broken, illogical, non-parallel. This trend also consists of simple contrasting colors, geometry and a minimal amount of decor. The techniques of this style destroy not only the traditional view of the interior, but also the principles of organizing space: beveled ceilings, polyhedrons protruding from the wall, furniture of non-standard geometric shapes.

WORKSHOP
This week, Mr. Sean gave us an interesting workshop that touched on our topic for "Statement of Intent". The idea of the task was to show yourself, understand your topic and embody it. If there are 3 key main words of the topic, take these words and turn them into something completely unusual. Poster, typography, whatever.
For me this task was like a "house". Expose your inner state. Show what you have a passion for, a desire to do something, choose several paths, or maybe one main one. We were given only 15 minutes, and it's a pity that I didn't manage to do something more colossal.
MUSIC DESIGN ART
A couple of days ago my idea was to combine something musical with design and bring it to life. But after thinking for a couple more days, I decided to change direction towards provocative projects, which I spoke about in another post.
