Week 4, Co-Exist. Reflection on the Film "Design Disruptors."

After watching the movie, there was a wonderful sediment on my soul and the feeling that we did not in vain choose the path of a designer. Of course, you need to learn a lot and understand what it means to be a designer, but what we have already gone through and started to study more deeply I already like.

1st thing that was interesting for me :

Design connects complexity with meaning.

Every work that we create must be special. It cannot be just a beautiful thing or an inscription. It should carry a deep meaning that will later be useful, convenient and people can really use it.

2nd :

View that chaos is "delicious".

So I always felt bad in chaos, I love when everything is perfect everywhere and everywhere is in order. But sometimes it’s also so nice to be in chaos and it’s in the midst of an idea that requires your full concentration at this second! It is sometimes even very beautiful and delicious!

3rd :

When technology is the thing you want - you don't need a design. - FOREGROUND

It's true! When I already have the main idea and thought, I mean the final product and when you already know what kind of thing or project it will be - the design itself comes. Even design will not be so much important as the invention itself if it is of course an ideal invention

1st thing that relates to my projects :

Opportunity to do something new(invent)

When I created the design of a board game last semester, I had a unique opportunity to create a board game from a real game in which the Turkic peoples played on horses (Kyz Kuu). It’s really cool when there are ideas to invent something new that did not exist yet and did not have time to come up with. Suppose now I have an idea to create a game and cards for the Kazakh mafia because I know that they love the mafia in Kazakhstan but with Kazakh characters it would be more fun in Kazakhstan

2nd :

Look in what you are close to.

Also in the last semester, I created the design of my cards for the portfolio and since I am a musician I decided to combine music and art where I managed it as I think. Since I combined musical terms with art and it came out interesting

A little bit about the Movie:

The film describes how design is very important in our life and how we designers should always be ready to solve the problems of our client. Since at the moment, and in principle, this is the main goal of the designer. It’s like a competition in our lives. To be the best in your business, you have to make decisions every day on which the fact will depend. Are you a good designer or not. Take a new challenge every day where you will have the opportunity to show your abilities, skills and show how far you can go. After all, when the programs that were created then seemed impossible and unrealistic (Skype, Uber, Google), but nevertheless they were created for human comfort and served as a solution to human problems. "Find ideas to make a material subject." For example, airplanes - to make panels more visible and convenient to save lives and prevent disasters. After all, it all depends directly on design and on how designers think and how much empathy they have when they look from the side of another person. Think like a user. Another good phrase that will help me to create my projects in the future
