Did you ever think that your choice in the market/shop/cafe is a very important thing which reflected on our world and a future world?
Focus on what we’re supporting with our purchases, it had to make you get into the practice of double-checking that our choices are reflecting our values. All our purchases from furniture, to household cleaning products, to our food, and even our toothpaste.
We have a huge power to create a truly sustainable world by living our values and becoming a conscious consumer. Because this world is ourselves actually.
How spend our money is one of the most impactful and positive thing we can do to make a difference. We can change everything only if we want it to and live more authentic and happier lives.
Identify your values and how the purchases you are making can reflect them. Every purchase can become a major.
When we set out with the intention of aligning our values with our purchases and choices, we live lives filled with purpose, happiness, and authenticity. Eventually depends on your lifestyle you can choose that you need and you don't need. We can dig deeper and research the effects our decisions have.
We need to create an awareness of the power we have as consumers to change the world and the responsibility that comes along with it. You must understand that your actions and decisions will now be reflected in you, your family, your future. That's the reason why it is so important to just understand and feel the power. Did you think about your child's future? - I did.
Even if are not parents now, but all the same we have a responsibility for the future that we are giving children now. We should choose to create a better world for people, the environment and generations to come.
With my groupmates we also created a mindmap which shows how we see Conscious Consumerism which is Consumerism
