Tutorial class 16.05.19

Our lesson was to show Ms Vin Sze our progress in making the map. All brought their sketches, blanks, and someone has already begun to make a card. I started with a story with a meaning that I wanted to convey in the map. The story was to show how important it is to find yourself exactly your way. And this is not about religion. I chose the Masjid Jamek mosque, but this is just an example. My story was to visually show how easily a person can become entangled in his life and how life can just go and find himself, correcting all the mistakes. Someone is a believer, someone is not. But everyone has their own way and their choice.

Let's start with the mosque itself. Its history and dimensions are very impressive. The mosque is a national treasure of Malaysia. Also, the installation of this mosque is in the museum :

The mosque has a lot of interesting details that can be used for the Letterforms and creating an unusual map. Unfortunately, the idea that I was trying to convey was a bit wrong. When I created my sketches, I was brought a little to another direction and soon I will correct my idea.

But everything is fine! I do not give up and will soon share new ideas and sketches!
