The Project : Shutters

A couple of weeks ago we were given the task to come up with an unusual design / sketch for the shutters. What is interesting is that it is planned to paint iron shutters that belong to our university. It is a separate Z / Y block and the project will be real. As it should be, they will choose the most creative work and it will be realized. Our group of girls consisted of 7 people, one more girl later joined, it became 8. We found a common language from the beginning and wanted to portray something that does not exist in real life. So what can a person touch and believe for a second that this is true. So it was worth doing it in the 3D effect. As soon as we decided on the idea, we immediately set to work, began to do sketches. It all started with the fact that we wanted to break the wall / shutters to show how we break reality to get the unreal out. First sketches with shutters and broken wall I did :

Next we chose Super Mario as the main character, as this is a very popular game and many people love it. Everyone has tried for this job. We passed the sketch from hand to hand and each one added and painted something.

The day of the Presentation was near and we certainly showed our idea to Miss Nurul. She suggested some details and then we continued to work on the project.

I also want to note that we drew Mario in the winter, since there is no Winter in Malaysia. Perhaps we managed to create a cold effect when you look at this sketch. In addition to the main shutter, we also had a door that we could also paint and sketch. What we came up with is to draw there the Princess to which Mario always runs.

At the presentation we saw a lot of other interesting works, but all we can do is just wait,who's idea is better. So, thanks to our lecturers for this opportunity and good luck to everyone!
