The map of my country: Kazakhstan

The last lesson was very creative. Ms Vinsze asked us to bring Map of out country and some national things or home-related stuffs. For that lesson I brought a black-white map of Kazakhstan and candy wrapper from our chocolate. Why black-white? Because I wanted to color it my way.

First thing that you can see on on this drawing - is Hand. In Kazakhstan, many people love amulets. So, one of these is Hand of Fatima-Khamsa. The reason why I chose that one like a main thing on a map is the fact that in my life I have the main goal "To support, to help and to be close to my parents and family." Because they gave me this life and raised me as a person. Therefore I am very grateful to them!

"Khamsah is an Arabic word that means "five", but also "the five fingers of the hand". The Hamsa is also variously known as the Hand of Fatima after the daughter of the prophet Muhammad, the Hand of Mary, the Hand of Miriam, and theHand of the Goddess. " I used chocolate wrapping on my fingers to show our flag a little. And the map I colored by my way. For instance, I chose pink color on cities that important to me and I wrote below description:

My parents met each other in the city Aktobe. Dad fell in love with mom and took care/ flirt with mom for 3 years. After there years together, granda (mom's dad) allowed to my dad to marry mom.

They both studied in Almaty and after they got married they decided to move to Almaty. There was born the first child : my sister Aimira.

To get up and start earning more, dad went to Turkey and a year later he he took mom and my sister there. They lived in Turkey for 6 years, then decided to return to their homeland, because they found out that soon they will have second child : Me=)

Astana has just begun to settle down as the capital and parents decided that this is a good city to start everything from the beginning.
