Printmaking

Another group project that we received this time on the subject of the Design Process and for which we were given a lot of time. As I told you, we learned what Print Making is on SilkScreen. But as is usually done, first they tell us, explain and show what and how. And after it is our turn to show that we understand. That is, to use heard and seen in practice. So, our project:

My group included Mira and Sarah. Why I like to communicate with them, because in many ways we have similar tastes and a vision of this world. That is, it was easy to decide on the theme and style of the project. As usual with us, the task was to explore the SS15 and this time choose one object and show what kinds there are on this street. Our topic was Coffee and Cigarettes. Since the SS15 has lots coffee shops and people usually smoke around coffee shops. So even in the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany," you can see that coffee can not do without cigarettes. We chose a couple of coffee shops and a smoking space and decided to make our map by Printmaking. But using only printmaking it seemed that it was too easy, so the idea occurred to use the newspaper, and later the idea to translate the text from the newspaper to tape and paste it in random order

And in order to completely emphasize how bad coffee and cigarettes affect human health, we decided to burn the paper on the sides. By the way, pay attention to the tape, it is also torn and the text is barely visible. This is also a sign that your body dies when you smoke or drink coffee. This also applies to the phrase that I used to describe our work:

For our work, we decided to choose a ragged tape with a newspaper, select purple directions and green highlight coffee / cigarette mugs. And in the end we got such a beauty!

Our main work, we decided to do the work that I showed above. But since our work turned out to be as minimal as possible, we decided to leave it at that and use only the white and black backgrounds for the other two cards.
