Week 5. Claymation Workshop

Today we had a very interesting workshop. And you know, he was just in time. Because this is just what we needed in preparation for our project. We were asked to bring 3 things: plasticine, tripod and just download the app on the phone. What is a "movement"? This is what is possible to show in pictures and it was very interesting to observe how the character moves and how to correctly convey each of its movements. Just today, we examined in detail several characters and in addition to the body, clothes, hair, and some objects that are included in the frame also move.

At the beginning, Miss Sue-Jane explained exactly what is required of us and how to use the application. And then we started our first work, the first experience in such a workshop :

The first attempt is not entirely successful. I tried to understand how the program works and how to coordinate the staff. But after I more or less figured out the program, its functions and it became easier to use all the proposed options

During our attempts to create at least something, Miss Sue-Jane showed us a good example of different options and different variants of the invention of such videos.

The last attempt to make stop motion video was quite successful. Of course, such work requires a lot of practice and imagination. But I think that just this workshop will help me a lot in creating my project!
