What can I say about my animation?
The first thing that comes to my mind is UNIFICATION. I started my animation about Baursak from the very old history that describes Nomadic lifestyle.
As we know Turkic people had to move a lot because of their cattle and it calls Nomadic lifestyle.
From the beginning you can hear different voice language and this is kazakh language. It may be a little surprising to hear another language and do not understand what this video says. But I thought it would be interesting to hear the Kazakh language that relates to my topic, and especially Kazakh bread.
Starts from the beginning we can look at some moving house. Actually in kazakh language it calls "Yurta". So from the Nomad time you may know that to the Turkic nation relates a lot of muslim countries as Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tadzhikistan, Mongolia and etc. Therefore we have several Yurts on the video to show that houses actually a little bit different but still have same construction. Basically houses build from wood planks and for make it warmer turkic people use felt and animal skins.
After houses look at some people that go from Yurts and how after that they become as a big Unity or Family.
That time it was very important to stay together and protect their community. It was time for wars for the territory and only the one way helped people there - Stay a Unity.
From that Unity you will see how something small is coming, so this is exactly Baursak.
Baursak that was made by woman, Baursak that connected all families together, Baursak that kids waited as a candy.
"The Desire for Unification" is a translation from Baursak in kazakh language. Since that time Baursak could combine all people, families, nations into one Unity.
Therefore at the next shooting look at the girl that I draw, she walks in kazakh traditional costume with kazakh jewelry and holding at the same time a plate of Baursak. You can note that her clothes change with modern style(like nowadays girls wearing) while she goes.
That's how I wanted to show Nomad time and Nowadays.
"Traditions didn't change. Traditions were only improved."
